When should we upgrade or migrate our TYPO3 website?
When your TYPO3 version is approaching or past end of life, when your PHP version is no longer supported, when extensions are no longer maintained, or when the platform has become hard to change. Older versions no longer receive security fixes.
Which TYPO3 versions can you upgrade from?
We upgrade from older TYPO3 versions to the latest LTS release. For very old installations we plan the upgrade path in stages and may recommend a clean rebuild with content migration if that is safer.
Upgrade or rebuild: how do we decide?
We assess the current version, custom code, extensions and content structure. A step-by-step upgrade is usually best for well-maintained sites; a rebuild with data migration can be better for heavily outdated or poorly structured ones.
What happens to our custom extensions and TypoScript?
We review custom extensions and TypoScript for breaking changes, refactor them to current TYPO3 standards and replace obsolete extensions with maintained alternatives where needed.
Will we lose content, URLs or search rankings?
No. We migrate content, records and relations without data loss, preserve URL structures and redirects, and run an SEO validation before launch.

Will the website be offline during the upgrade?
No. We work in a separate environment, test everything there and deploy in a staged way, so downtime at launch is kept to a minimum.
Do you also migrate the frontend and templates?
Yes. We rebuild or adapt Fluid templates and frontend code to current TYPO3 standards, including accessibility and performance improvements where useful.
